CACI International Acquisition of L-3 National Security Solutions

CACI International Inc (CACI) acquired the National Security Solutions (NSS) segment from L-3 Communications (L-3) for $550 million. NSS, headquartered in Reston, VA, was L-3’s government services division, a prime mission partner to the Department of Defense (DoD), intelligence agencies, and the U.S. Federal Civilian Government, providing highly specialized and differentiated strategic solutions, services, and products for the country’s most sensitive national security and critical missions.  NSS brought ~4,000 employees (90%+ security-cleared) and roughly $1 billion in annual revenue to CACI.  The acquisition expanded CACI’s capabilities in Enterprise IT, intelligence, cyber, and C4 solutions.
