Tampa, Fla. – October 6, 2026 – Hyde Park Capital announced today the appointment of Michael Froning as Chairman of its planned HPC Advisory Board, which will provide strategic guidance to the firm’s leadership and support its continued growth and investment in its people. Froning will also serve as Senior Advisor to the firm, supporting the continued development of the firm’s executives and senior bankers.
Froning brings more than four decades of senior leadership experience spanning transportation, retail, healthcare, manufacturing, and the U.S. Army. Throughout his career, he has led both large corporate divisions and entrepreneurial businesses, giving him a broad understanding of the challenges executives face at different stages of a company’s development. He will bring that practical, operator’s perspective to Hyde Park Capital.

Froning began building his leadership foundation in the U.S. Army, where he served as a sergeant (E-5). He later served as Division President and a member of the Executive Committee at Circuit City, overseeing a $3 billion division. As President and CEO of Floor & Decor Outlets of America, he helped grow the company from $15 million to more than $300 million in revenue. He also served as President and CEO of Adams Arms, a Florida-based manufacturer.
Most recently, Froning served as President of Pinnacle Home Care, one of Florida’s leading home healthcare companies. In 2024, he helped lead Pinnacle through its strategic partnership with HCS-Girling, for which Hyde Park Capital served as the exclusive investment banker.
Froning has already begun working with the Hyde Park Capital team through a series of firm-wide leadership and professional development sessions. His formal appointment expands his involvement as the firm continues investing in its people, culture, and long-term growth.
