Henry Gonzalez III serves as Managing Director at Hyde Park Capital.

Industry Focus

Henry advises founder led and middle market companies on capital strategy, growth financing, and value creation. His experience spans commercial and industrial businesses, commercial real estate backed operating companies, treasury and capital structure optimization, and bank sponsored and sponsor backed growth platforms. He works closely with management teams and business owners to support sustainable growth and well executed capital outcomes.

Background & Experience

Henry brings nearly 30 years of senior leadership experience across banking, credit, and capital markets. Prior to joining Hyde Park Capital, he founded SI Private Capital Management. He previously served as Tampa Market President for Beach Community Bank and later The First Bank following Beach Bank’s acquisition. Earlier in his career, Henry held senior leadership roles at Mutual of Omaha Bank, Platinum Bank, and The Bank of Tampa, where he led commercial and real estate banking teams, managed significant portfolios, and provided leadership through multiple bank sale processes.

Board & Community Leadership

Henry is active in the Tampa Bay business community and currently serves on the ACG Tampa Board, the Jesuit High School Foundation Board, and the SouthState Bank Advisory Board – West Coast.

Education

Henry earned a Bachelor of Arts in Finance and an MBA in Finance and Management from the University of South Florida. He is a graduate of the Louisiana State University Graduate School of Banking and holds a Professional Master of Banking from LSU.

Based in Tampa, Florida, Henry is an active runner and cyclist and enjoys spending time outdoors.
