Award recipients were chosen by an independent panel of judges for their forward-thinking approach, leadership, and contributions to their communities. The summit brings together influential professionals, past honorees, and industry leaders for two days of networking, leadership discussions, and market insights.

Award-Winning Professionals
Luke Horanski, Managing Director of HPC, brings extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and strategic advisory assignments across a variety of industries, with a focus on Industrials and Business Services. Prior to his investment banking career, Luke worked in the construction field, where he gained hands-on experience across jobsite operations, sales, and corporate development initiatives. In addition to his focus guiding clients through successful M&A transactions, Luke helps lead the firm’s Nashville office, with a focus on further expanding the firm’s reach across the broader Mid-South region. Luke earned a B.A. in Economics from Virginia Tech, where he captained the varsity baseball team, and an MBA from the University of Maine. He is a FINRA registered securities professional and has served as a lead banker on several transactions that have earned “Deal of the Year” honors from industry groups and trade publications.
Joe Pennington, Director of HPC, focuses primarily on the healthcare industry and has helped to successfully execute numerous important HPC healthcare engagements. He supports the firm’s mergers and acquisitions, private capital raising, and corporate finance efforts across healthcare related sectors. He holds the Series 79 securities license for Investment Banking Registered Representatives and graduated from the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business with a B.S. in Business Administration.
