Nick Berquist currently serves as a Vice President of Hyde Park Capital.

Industry Focus

Nick has advised on mergers and acquisitions across multiple industries, with a focus on consumer products and business services.

Background and Experience

Before moving into investment banking, Nick spent nearly a decade as an operator in the hospitality industry, managing multiple locations across a range of concepts. That experience gives him an owner’s perspective on M&A and a firsthand understanding of what it takes to build a business.

Prior to joining Hyde Park Capital, Nick was a Vice President at Diamond Capital Advisors, a boutique middle-market investment bank in Los Angeles. There he led sell-side, buy-side, and valuation engagements for privately held companies.

Education

Nick graduated Magna Cum Laude from Penn State University with a Bachelor of Science in Finance.

Community Service

Nick is active in his Southern California community. In response to the Palisades Fire, Nick and his wife organized a donation drive for affected families. They gathered contributions from across the Temecula Valley and filled three semi-trucks with clothing, shoes, furniture, and other essentials.

Interests & Hobbies

A Pittsburgh native, Nick is an avid fan of the Steelers, Pirates, and Penguins. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, watching sports, going to the beach, and spending time with his wife and two children.
