Matt Kaufmann

SENIOR ASSOCIATE

Matt Kaufmann serves as a Senior Associate at Hyde Park Capital.

He supports the firm’s mergers & acquisitions and capital raising efforts, with experience spanning financial modeling, transaction execution, and client advisory. He holds Series 79 and Series 63 securities licenses.

Matt earned a B.S. in Civil & Environmental Engineering from the University at Buffalo and an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University’s Tepper School of Business, where he developed a strong foundation in corporate finance, investment analysis, and capital markets.

Prior to joining Hyde Park Capital, Matt was an Investment Banking Associate at Jefferies, where he focused on the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT) sector. In this role, he advised public and private clients on M&A, leveraged finance, and equity restructuring transactions, leading execution across diligence, financial modeling, and marketing workstreams.

A native of Long Island, New York, Matt enjoys fitness, golfing, and surfing in his spare time.
